Munsi informed the Lok Sabha that the UPA government has prohibited
transmission /retransmission of satellite channels like Blue Kiss, Blue
Kiss Express, Blue Kiss Promo, TBL-XXX and free XTV for violating the
programme and advertising code prescribed under the Cable television
Network (Regulation) Act,1995.

Government has notified the Uplinking Guidelines for television
