broadcasters, under the banner of India Media Group, asked the
government to direct cable operators to digitally deliver all foreign
television channels through set-top-boxes. Broadcasters say a digital
system will further open up capacity in the cable network. so that more
channels can be carried.

the second day following the indefinite strike called by multi-system
operations (MSOs) last evening to protest against the double taxation
policy of the state government.

collection contract give to Hathway, a Multi-System Cable (MSO) owned by
Rahejas. The civic body was rapped by senior officials at a high level
meeting convent by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development
Department (MA&UD) secretary SP Singh.
