I & B ministry held a meeting with Multi-system Operations (MSOs) and Broadcasters to discuss extension of CAS in four metros, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai and rest of the Country. The Punjab and Haryana High Court directed the regulator TRAI to decide on the issue of channel price on DTH within eight weeks. The High Court Bench Justice Vijender Jain also directed the Operators to file an application before TRAI in this regard.
